Akram, himself a game legend, pays homage to Babar’s work ethic and praises his hunger for constant success.
“He has passed the right rank. I have worked with him in Karachi Kings for the past three years. I love his work ethic. He is focused and on his performance. Never satisfied. [Virat] Kohli, [David] Warner, [Joe] Root and Babar are on top. Kori is with Babar, “he added.

Babar led Pakistan’s sensational campaign at the T20 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates earlier this year. The Asian team entered the semi-finals and won all five of the Super 12 games, including wins against India and New Zealand. However, Pakistan was unable to advance to the final due to a decisive penalty shootout against Australia. Still, Bavar performed brilliantly in 2021 as both a batter and a leader.
