CRICDOT DESK : Tendulkar’s son Arjun Tendulkar finds place in Mumbai squad and The spectacular opening Prithvi Shaw was nominated as Mumbai’s captain in the first two games of the Ranji Trophy season on Wednesday. The 41st Lunge master Mumbai will be assigned to Elite Nine Team Group C and will launch his campaign against Maharashtra on January 13th. From January 20th they will face Delhi in Calcutta.

“Pritvi is a great captain and whatever else he needs is a great opening hitter,” Mumbai captain Salil Ancora told PTI. Young opener Yashasvi Jaiswal, medium-sized thugs Sarfaraz Khan, Arman Jaffer and Aakarshit Gomel, along with experienced players, have become the 20 powerful stamper batters Adultia Tare.

The all-rounder Shivam Dube, who played ODI and 13 T20I, was also elected by a selection committee consisting of Gulam Parkar, Sunil More, Prasad Desai and Anand Yalvigi. The bowling attack is led by experienced pacemaker Dhaval Kulkarni. Middle pacemaker Mohit Awasthi, left spinner Shams Mulani, off-spinner Shashank Attarde, and left arm middle pacemaker Roystan Dias make up the attack-paced all-rounder Arjun Tendulkar.
