But before that, the cricketers who were called up for the Bangladesh team in the T20 series against Afghanistan were flown to Chittagong. Munim Shahriar, Shahidul Islam, Sheikh Mehedi Hasan and Mohammad Naeem Sheikh arrived in Chittagong from Dhaka on a special flight on Thursday night.

These players are not in the ODI squad. T20 series will be in Dhaka but why the players of that squad were brought to Chittagong? In response, it has been learned that they will practice in Chittagong with the ODI team. They are entering the bio bubble after being negative in the corona test.

Bangladesh team director Khaled Mahmud Sujan said, “Yes, I also brought four members of the T20 team to Chittagong last night. They have been brought in mainly because they can practice with the team. Because after returning to Dhaka, there will be no time for practice. The T20 series started with a break of one day. ‘

As a result, Munim, Shahidul, Mehedi and Naimra will not get any coach or supporting staff to practice in Dhaka. So they will be trained with the national team.

The T20 series will start on March 3 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka’s Mirpur, two days after the one-day series ends on February 28. Most of the cricketers called up for the two-match series are in the ODI squad.
