Shakib’s Fortune Barishal confirms playoff and retain top spot

CRICDOT DESK : In the second match of the day in Bangabandhu Premier League (BPL), Shakib Al Hasan’s Fortune Barisal strengthened their position at the top by defeating the host Sylhet Sunrisers by 12 runs. In the beginning Munim Shahriar, Shakib in the middle of Gayle and in the end Bravo storm against Sylhet for only 4 wickets for a big collection of 199 runs for Fortune Barisal. In reply, Sylhet’s innings stopped at 18 runs. At this rate, Sylhet Sunrisers were eliminated as the first team from the play-off race. On the other hand, Barisal strengthened its position by stopping Sylhet.
