Shakib-Mustafiz to wait for auction to get IPL teams

CRICDOT DESK :After the announcement of  addition of two new teams based in Lucknow and Ahmedabad, this year’s Indian Premier League (IPL) will last for about two months and with more matches and facts. The retention list of each franchise has been finalized ahead of the 15th edition. It has been revealed there who stayed in which team before the IPL auction.

Kolkata Knight Riders have released the world’s best all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan. On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals have also released cutter master Mustafiz,  Shakib-Mustafiz has to find team newly. It would be wrong to say that Kolkata has only released Shakib. They did not include Eoin Morgan and Indian batsman Shubman Gill.

However, Knight’s authorities left out Caribbean all-rounders Andre Russell (12 crore), Varun Chakraborty (6 crore), Venkatesh Iyer (70 crore) and Sunil Narine (70 crore). They also have Rs 48 crore in their hands in the auction.

Excluding David Warner, Rashid Khan and Bhubaneswar Kumar, Sunrisers Hyderabad will have Rs 6 crore at auction.

Excluding Mostafiz, Rajasthan Royals retained Sanju Samson (Rs 14 crore), Jos Butler (Rs 10 crore) and Yashsvi Jaiswal (Rs 4 crore). They will have 62 crore rupees in the auction.

Besides, Delhi will have Rs 48 crore, Chennai will have Rs 48 crore, Punjab will have Rs 72 crore, Mumbai Indians will have Rs 47 crore and Royal Challengers Bangalore will have Rs 56 crore.
