Scoring runs against the pink ball is tougher: Marnus Labuschagne

CRICDOT DESK : Marnus Labuschagne marked a brilliant century for the Australian team in Ash’s second friendly against England in the Adelaide Oval. And right-handed people find it more difficult to run against a pink ball.
Labuschagne added that playing a pink ball in a friendly match is different. Labuschagne envisioned the pink balls to behave differently on different surfaces.

“If anything, it’s more difficult. It’s hard to get the rhythm and feeling with a pink ball. And all pink ball games are very different. I played Pakistan here, but the wickets were a little less grass so it was a bit flat and the jumps were pretty consistent. I played against India here last summer, and it went up and down in almost two stages, “Labuschagne said after the second day of the second friendly match.

Marnus Labuschagne also added that the pink ball was approaching all day in the second Ashes Test Match. A right-handed man also said during the morning session on the second day that he didn’t know what Ran would do for him.
“And of course we played this game, but there was a little more grass. With the ball in the right position, it felt like it was lined up all day. Again this morning, where did the next run come from? I didn’t know if I was there, “Labuschagne said.

Labuschagne also said he is currently above average than Steve Smith and Adam Voges, with a batting average of only Don Bradman. At the age of 27, he said the personal praise he received was great, but it was more important for him to take the run and help Australia win the match.

“It’s the first time I’ve heard that it’s second only to Bradman … it’s a special feeling. Personal achievements and awards are great. But I can win as many runs as possible in each inning and win the game. I’m thinking of making it possible, “Labuschagne concludes.
