PSL bans James Faulkner forever!
CRICDOT DESK : The Pakistan Cricket Board has banned Australian World Cup-winning star James Faulkner from playing in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) for life. Faulkner will never be considered for the tournament again in the future, the PCB said. In a Twitter message today, Faulkner accused the PCB of lying about the payment. Basically, this is the reason why the PCB has banned Aussie star.
Faulkner, who played for Quetta Gladiators, has returned to Australia without finishing PSL. He alleged that the PCB was constantly lying to him about the remuneration. Faulkner said the wages promised in the contract were not paid. On social media, Faulkner wrote on Twitter, “I apologize to Pakistan cricket fans. Unfortunately, I am removing myself from the last two matches. Because PCB is not paying me as per contract. ‘
Faulkner added, “I came here (Pakistan) to play the whole event. But they are constantly lying, which hurts me. With so many young talents in Pakistan, I also wanted to help bring cricket back to the country. But I have received insults from the PCB. I hope everyone understands my position. ‘
The PCB called Faulkner’s allegations “baseless.” The PCB and Quetta Gladiators said they were disappointed by the allegations. So the PCB and PSL authorities have decided not to include Faulkner in the draft of future PSL players.
