New Zealand postpone Bangladesh's permission to practice!

CRICDOT DESK : The New Zealand Ministry of Health withdrew the order a day after it was allowed to begin practice. So much more than the Tigers are getting into practice.

Bangladesh Cricket Team Operations Manager Nafis Iqbal said on Friday that the decision came from the New Zealand Ministry of Health due to unavoidable reasons. We tested three corona tests, we have one more test left. If it was negative then we would be completely free.

Nafis Iqbal added that there was already a 14-day quarantine rule in New Zealand. It was done seven days through negotiations a few days before the visit. Of these seven days, three days quarantine at the hotel. Basically it was all 10 days. The first seven days were at MIQ, the remaining three days at the hotel. You can stay in the hotel for three days to practice. But you have to go back to the hotel and stay in isolation.

The former national team star cricketer further said that now maybe one change will come, we may have to stay under MIQ for 10 days. And the practice that I got permission for yesterday, has been banned by the government due to unavoidable reasons.

Nafis Iqbal said that Rangana Herath, the spin coach of the Bangladesh team, who tested positive for corona during her visit to New Zealand, said that Herath is doing well. His condition is improving day by day. The team has regular contact with him. Hope to have him with us soon.

Bangladesh will play two Test matches in New Zealand. The first test starts from January 1.
