Mitchell Starc back for IPL!
CRICDOT DESK : Mitchell Starc is the highest wicket taker in the 2015 and 2019 ODI World Cups. He has kept himself away from the Indian Premier League (IPL) for seven years. However, this Aussie pacer is going to return to IPL.
Starc, one of the best pacers of the time, has not yet made a final decision, but he has hinted at returning to the IPL. Basically, Aussie pacer’s idea of playing in the IPL is thinking about the upcoming T20 World Cup. Starc last played for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL in 2015.
In an interview, Stark said, “I haven’t given my name in the draft yet. I have some time on my hands. However, considering the schedule of the next day’s play and the T20 World Cup, the chances of playing in the IPL are high.
Starc played for RCB in the 2014 and 2015 seasons. He has taken 34 wickets in 26 matches at an economy rate of only 6.17. After that he didn’t play anymore to give himself rest, to give time to his family.
