Mashrafee gets important position in parliamentary committee!

CRICDOT DESK : Former Bangladesh national cricket team captain and Narail-1 MP Mashrafee Bin Mortaza has been given new responsibilities. The former captain was made a member of the parliamentary standing committee on the planning ministry on Saturday.

Earlier, Mashrafee was made a member of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Youth and Sports. Apart from being a Member of Parliament, he will have to handle two more responsibilities this time.

Tangail MP Ekabbar Hossain, chairman of the parliamentary committee on road transport and bridges, died, leaving the post vacant. In his place, MP Raushan Ara Mannan from the main opposition party was elected president. On the other hand, Mashrafe has been made a member in place of Raushan Ara.

On Saturday, on behalf of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Chief Whip Nur-e-Alam Chowdhury proposed reconstitution of two committees in Parliament. These two decisions are then taken.
