Mashrafe uncertain in first match for Dhaka due to Injury
CRICDOT DESK : Right-arm pacer Mashrafe bin Murtaza uncertain in the first match of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2022 in Dhaka. The Dhaka physio minister said the party did not want to take any risks with Mashrafe as he was victim to a short injury while bowling during practice.
Minister Dhaka will face Khulna Tigers on the evening of January 21. The match will start at 6:30 pm. Dhaka pacer Mashrafe Mortaza’s game is uncertain in this match due to injury as its a big blow for the team.
Minister Dhaka Physio Enamul Haque said, “We still have two days. If his pain subsides, he will move in a positive direction. However, if the pain does not subside, at least in the first match, no risk will be taken against him. ”

Mashrafe was seen in practice on Tuesday. He bowled with a small run-up in the beginning. He then went to bowl in the big run-up and felt the pain in his back. It has been reported that a hamstring injury has been added to the previous back pain.
Mashrafe has been out of cricket for a long time. The last match was played more than a year ago. He played in Bangabandhu T20 Cup in December 2020. Mashrafe took seven wickets in four matches in that tournament.
