Legendary Rod Marsh is no more!
CRICDOT DESK : Legendary Australian cricketer Rod Marsh is no more. He died of a heart attack on Friday at the age of 84. He was 74 years old at the time of his death. He has played 96 Tests and 92 ODIs for Australia. Rod Marsh has also been the selector of the Australian national team.
He had a heart attack in the car a few days ago before going to play a friendly match. He was admitted to the hospital.
Marsh was a game changer in the Australian team. He became the first wicket-keeper to score a century (116) against Pakistan in the 1982 Adelaide Test.
He was the head coach of the Australian Cricket Academy in Adelaide from 1990 to 2000. Until 2016, he was the selector of the national team.
