Kohli follows footsteps of Rahul Dravid
PBC News: Legendary Rahul Dravid is now the head coach of another legend Virat Kohli. After his first game as a head coach Dravid set a new precedent by being the first benevolent head coach of the Indian team. At the end of the Kanpur Test, Dravid gave the groundsmen a gift of Rs 35,000 from his own pocket. Seeing him, Indian captain Virat Kohli did the same thing in the Mumbai Test.
Kohli did the same in the recently concluded Test at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Inspired by Rahul Dravid, the Indian captain gave a gift of Rs 35,000 to the fielders.
As a coach, Dravid gave India the gift of winning T20 and Test series. After the historic win against New Zealand, the legend said, it is good to be able to end the series with a win. In Kanpur, the victory was lost for a while. We could not take the last wicket. Cricketers must be credited.
He further added that they have snatched the victory in Mumbai by overcoming the frustration of the difficult situation. Several seniors on the team are not playing. Young people have performed instead. Took advantage of the opportunity. Many do not get a chance to play regular Tests. But it is great to see Shreyas Iyer, Mayank Agarwal, Akshar Patel performing.
