Sachin

CRICDOT DESK : Legendary batter Sachin Tendulkar praised Team India’s “excellent bowling” in its first test against South Africa on Thursday. India won its first friendly match at Centurion when it defeated South Africa on Thursday’s final match day with 113 runs. India finished 10th in the three-game test series.

Mohammed Shami chose five wickets in his first inning before completing 200 scalps in the game’s longest format on Tuesday. In two innings, Shami dismissed three South African thugs to help India win the game.
Sachin congratulated the site, saying that Indian bowling attacks can choose 20 wickets in one test anywhere in the world.

“Great bowling from an attack that can hit 20 wickets in a test match anywhere in the world. Congratulations to #TeamIndia for a compelling victory!” Sachin tweeted.

South African skipper Dean Elgar also said Indian pacemakers Mohammed Shami and Jasprit Bumrah threatened Protea batters in the next two games.

“Yes, I think Shami clearly raised some issues with our right-wing thugs. Obviously, his ticket gate in the first inning reflects that. And I also say he’s always running with energy and high energy, whether he’s running or not, “Elgar said when he answered an inquiry from ANI at a virtual press conference.

“So he always challenges you as a thug. You have to be very careful to face both of them, but they say they are pretty even attacks at the moment.” He added. India and South Africa will be the next lure horn in the second test in Johannesburg starting Monday.
