India And Sri Lanka All set to Play Day-Night Test in Bengaluru
CRICDOT DESK : BCCI President Love Gungle has confirmed that India will host a pink ball test against Sri Lanka in the next Red Ball series in Bangalore. India has only hosted two Pink Ball incidents so far, the first at Eden Gardens in Kolkata and the other at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Bangalore and Mohari will host a two-game test series that will be part of the ICC World Test Championship.
Gangley further stated that BCCI will soon announce the venue for the Sri Lanka series. “Yes, the Pink Ball Test will be held in Bangalore. All Sri Lankan venues for the series have not yet been decided, but will be announced shortly, “BCCI’s president told Sportstar. India will have three T20Is and two scheduled for late February and early March after the Whiteball series against Covid’s test-positive West Indies, including three players, ended in Kolkata on February 20.
