In the meantime, Eight has shown an interest in participating in this year’s BPL. Six of them have already been selected. BCB will officially approve the six teams by next Thursday (December 16th). There are no iconic cricket players at this year’s event. Each team gets a chance to bring a Megastar cricket player to the team.
Due to Covid19, BCB was unable to host BPL last year. The franchise can return to the next BPL where six teams are likely to participate. BPL will be held from January 20th to February 20th next year.
