Faf du Plessis to replace Kohli as RCB skipper
CRICDOT DESK : Star opener Rohit Sharma has replaced Virat Kohli as the new captain of the Indian cricket team in all three formats. All that was left was the announcement of the new captain of the Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket team Royal Challengers Bangalore. In the end, the responsibility of managing Bangalore has been handed over to the new captain in place of Kohli. Former South African captain Faf du Plessis has been named in charge of the team.
Faf had a great performance at the Chennai Super Kings last season. However, from CSK, this time the team from Bangalore took Faf in the team mainly by nominating him as the captain. Kohli’s team took him to the team for 6 crores.

Faf has spent most of his IPL time in Chennai. After playing in Chennai jerseys from 2012 to 2015, he played in Pune Super Giants for two years in between. Then go back to CSK in 2017. He played there till last year. This time he has joined RCB in a completely new role, with new challenges.
Bangalore did not get the trophy by Kohli’s hand. They have not even tasted the IPL trophy yet. It remains to be seen whether the new captain Faf du Plessis can bring back the fortunes of Bangalore. Whether you can bring the taste of winning the IPL trophy for the first time!
