‘Deepak Chahar will be the most expensive bowler in IPL-22’
CRICDOT DESK : Former Indian test opener Akash Chopra praises Deepak Chahar, who has recently been blinded by field exploits at the international level and believes he could be the most expensive bowler at next month’s IPL mega auction. I am. Released by defending champion Chennai Super Kings, Chahar is expected to trigger a bidding war between 10 franchises.
The Chopra has three pacemakers and two spinners in five expensive picks, including Placid Krishna, Abeshkan, Rahul Chahar, Yuzu Bendra Chahar, and Chahar. Explaining why he believes that Chahar, who has a
115 T20-287 wicket, is the most desirable bowler, Chopra said, “He (Chahar) takes the wickets with a new ball. Other Indian bowlers I don’t see it doing it (on a regular basis).) You can. ”
” Deepak Chahar is the first 3 over bench. He goes into power play over and brings you a ticket gate. He breaks the enemy’s back. I’m not saying he’s a phenomenal death over bowler, but he can be tempted. I think CSK will bid on him again, as does Ahmedabad and Lucknow. I go for him every time. So it will cost you something. He still hits well. So he has a good view of the racket, “Chopra added.
Chahar first appeared in the Rising Pune Super Giants IPL in 2016 and 2017, was selected by CSK and won two IPL titles (2018 and 2021). He was not bound by the four winners who chose MS Dhoni, Ravindra Jadeja, Moeen Ali and Ruturaj Gaikwad.
Chopra also believes last season’s purple cap holder Harshal Patel will be of interest, but it’s unclear if the medium pacer is demanding a potential take. “I don’t know if Hershall Patel will be my top five most expensive bowler,” he said. This year’s IPL Auction is a two-day event in Bangalore on February 12th and 13th.
