Mohammad Nazmul Hossain. He said with pleasure that the quarantine of the victims is also in the last stage. They will be able to allow them to return home only if they get negative result in the test. He made the remarks at a virtual health bulletin organized by the health department on Sunday afternoon. Highlighting the recent nature of corona infection in the country, Professor Nazmul said, “We are seeing a low rate of infection. In the last one week, 1,006 people have been infected, which is 128 more than the previous seven days. The death toll last week was two times lower than the previous week. That means the whole week was a relief. But there is no chance of complacency in this small number. It is to be mentioned that the women’s cricket team returned to the country from Zimbabwe via Dubai on December 1. Back in the country, they entered the 5-day quarantine at Hotel Sonagaon. No one came positive in the first round of covid test. However, in the second round of the test, both of them came back positive. Omicron is known five days after Corona tested positive on the 7th.
