Chattrogram Challengers pays respect to freedom fighters in Jersey!
CRICDOT DESK : Chattrogram Challengers have unveiled their jerseys ahead of the eighth edition of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). The glorious episodes of the country have found a place in the jersey of Chittagong. Language fight, independence, victory, various achievements of Bangladesh can all be found in Jersey. The franchise officially handed over the new jersey to the team’s cricketers, including head coach Paul Nixon.
With the 50th anniversary of the victory in mind, the Challengers are in the jersey this time, an episode of various chapters of the glory of this country. In this context, the managing director of Chittagong Challengers K.M. Rifatuzzaman said, ‘We are celebrating 50 victories. That’s why we put his reflection in the jersey. This is our attempt to pay deep respect to the heroic martyrs of freedom. We believe that the young generation will take Bangladesh a long way. This time also in BPL we have formed a youth dependent team.
Along with the jersey, the launch of the website of Chittagong Challengers also started on this occasion. This website will have all kinds of activities of Challengers on and off the field.
Chittagong Challengers head coach Paul Nixon, bowling coach Shaun Tait, cricketers Nasum Ahmed, Sabbir Rahman, Shariful Islam, Mrityunjay Chowdhury and foreign cricketers Will Jacques, Rayad Emeritus and support staff were present at the unveiling ceremony.
Cesan Lincoln designed the Chattrogram Challengers jersey. Earlier, he also designed the jersey of Bangladesh national team.
