BCB wants official cause from Shakib for abandoning NZ series
CRICDOT DESK : After the ongoing series against Pakistan Bangladesh is all set to travel to New Zealand to take part in the two-Test series. The two Test matches of the series will be played on January 5 and 15 at the Oval and Christchurch.
Meanwhile, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Saturday announced a 18-member squad ahead of the New Zealand tour along with surprise. Former national team captain Shakib Al Hasan has been included in the squad announced by the cricket board.
BCB president Nazmul Hasan Papon told the media after the announcement of the team, that Shakib had told him not to go to New Zealand unofficially. However, the board wants an official letter.
