When will BCB rectify their jokes?

When will BCB rectify their jokes?

CRICDOT DESK : The tide turned in the second week of February. Before that, Shakib Al Hasan had set a world record by being the best in five consecutive matches in BPL. The left-arm all-rounder did not get a team in the much-awaited IPL auction on February 12-13. After an enviable performance in the BPL, Shakib was unsold even though his name was auctioned twice.

Then basically the rhythmic fall. He took 6 runs and 1 wicket in the last two matches in BPL. Then in the Afghanistan series, Shakib seemed to be his own shadow. He took 60 runs, 5 wickets in three ODIs and 14 runs and 2 wickets in two T20s. Many of them agreed to play Tests and ODIs on the tour of South Africa. The team was announced with him. But after the end of the series, Biswad seemed to be at its peak. Before leaving for Dubai, he told reporters at the airport that it was not possible to play the South Africa series in the current physical and mental condition. At least he wants a break in the ODI series.

The left-arm all-rounder’s comments caused a commotion in the country’s cricket ground. BCB president Nazmul Hasan Papon was also shocked. Everyone involved in the annoying national team. Many have reacted angrily. Because, in almost every series in the last few years, the BCB has to face an embarrassing situation with Shakib’s game or not. The same thing is happening again, which the board officials think is going beyond the level.

BCB is not forcing him to play for the country. If there is reluctance, BCB has asked to inform in advance. But Shakib’s decision is coming when the series is approaching. The cricket administration is angry with the overall flow of events. Officials want a permanent solution. However, Shakib, about whom so much discussion, expression of anger, is now staying in Dubai. Despite not enjoying cricket, the left-arm all-rounder is busy shooting commercials in Dubai. BCB sources said on Tuesday (March 6) that he was scheduled to return home on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh ODI team will fly to South Africa on March 11. The Test team will leave the country the next day. But it has not been decided yet whether Shakib will also fly with Tamim and Mushfiqur.

Shakib lost his focus in cricket as he did not get a chance in IPL. Shakib’s childhood guru Nazmul Abedin Fahim also thinks so. According to him, it is not uncommon to get frustrated by not getting a team in the world’s best franchise tournament. In Fahim’s eyes, Shakib seemed rhythmless in the Afghan series after BPL.
