BCB keen to host qualifying round of the Women’s T20 World Cup
CRICDOT DESK : BCB wants to host the qualifying round of the Women’s T20 World Cup to be held in March in Bangladesh. They have also made a proposal to the ICC in this regard. According to the BCB plan, the qualifying matches will be held at two venues in Sylhet. Shafiul Alam Chowdhury Nadel, director of the BCB and chairman of the women’s wing, said:

Now I am waiting for the answer. With ICC approval, the tournament will be held in Sylhet. ‘
The final of the competition will be held at Hagley Oval. The other five venues – Eden Park, Sedan Park, Bay Oval, University Oval and Basin Reserve – will host the group stage and semifinal games.
The girls’ T20 World Cup is scheduled to be held in New Zealand from March 4. In fact, the event was supposed to take place last year. But in coronavirus situations it is postponed.
