Bangladesh to tour New Zealand on 9 December: BCB

Bangladesh is playing a bilateral series against Pakistan right after the T20 World Cup and the second one is one day on count. According to the schedule, this series at home will end on December 9 and The Tigers soilder will leave for New Zealand in the very next day.
Speaking to media in Mirpur on Thursday, Bangladesh Cricket Board chief executive Nizamuddin Chowdhury Sujan said the team would leave on the morning of December 9 one day just after the Dhaka Test.
Both matches of the New Zealand tour are part of the Test Championship. Although the past record is not good, the Tigers have a chance to do well on New Zealand soil again. Like last time, the coaching staff including the players of Bangladesh team will go to New Zealand with more time in hand.
Basically, according to the rules of the government, quarantine is mandatory for 14 days. However, the deadline has been reduced, said Nizamuddin Chowdhury, chief executive of the Bangladesh Cricket Board. Bangladesh team will play two warm-up matches before the main fight.
On the quarantine issue, Nizamuddin Chowdhury said, “The protocol we had in the last New Zealand series has been relaxed a bit. The room has to be quarantined for three to four days. ‘
Suzanne added: “It simply came to our notice then. Our team is getting a chance to play two practice matches. There will be two two-day practice matches. One within themselves, the other with the New Zealand XI. After playing two practice matches, Bangladesh team will play Test directly.
Bangladesh will host Mount Manganui on the first day of the new year. The second Test will be on January 9 in Christchurch. Bangladesh has to go ahead due to strict quarantine protocol in New Zealand.
