Bangladesh in 'group of death' along with IND-PAK in T20 world cup

CRICDOT DESK : The ICC has announced the schedule for the 2022 T20 World Cup. The first match of the T20 World Cup will start on October 22. The first match is starting in Sydney with the match of the current champion Australia and New Zealand. Bangladesh will play its first match on October 24.

The first group includes Australia, New Zealand, England, Afghanistan and two more teams from the qualifying round. Bangladesh are in the second group – India, Pakistan, South Africa and two teams from the qualifying round.

Sri Lanka, Namibia and two other teams will play in the qualifying round or the first round. In Group B, West Indies and Scotland have two more teams. The four teams from the qualifying round or the first round will play another qualifying round.

The semi-finals of the T20 World Cup will be held on November 9 and 10. The venues for the semifinals are in Sydney and Adelaide, respectively. The dream final will be held on November 13 in Melbourne.
