Bangladesh eyeing to clean sweep Afghans in ODI
CRICDOT DESK : After finishing BPL, Bangladesh team started training for Afghan series at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong on Sunday.
The first ODI will be played on Wednesday, February 23 at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong. The team led by Tamim Iqbal will take part in the remaining two ODIs of the series on February 25 and 26 at the same venue.
Mehdi Hassan Miraj, the star all-rounder of the national team, said about their target in the Afghan series, “We will have a general plan like the way we have been playing ODI cricket.” It cannot be called whitewash but we will play good cricket and of course our goal will be to win the series. The first goal will be to win the series.

“I am hopeful that something good will happen,” said national team star pacer Taskin Ahmed over the Afghan series. Hopefully we will be able to perform as expected in the Afghan series.
In the past, Bangladesh and Afghanistan faced each other in 6 ODIs. In that past meeting, Bangladesh won 5 matches and Afghanistan won 3 matches.
