Albie Morkel appointed as Bangladesh power hitting coach
CRICDOT DESK : The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has appointed a power-hitting coach ahead of the T20 World Cup to be held in Australia in October-November.
Former South African star cricketer Albie Morkel will be the national team’s power hitting coach. Bangladesh team is on tour in South Africa. The three-match ODI series will start from Friday. Morkel will work with the Tigers in this series.
The talk of a power-hitting coach came after the failure of last year’s Twenty20 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates. For the first time, Morkel was appointed to the coaching staff of the Bangladesh national team.
