Afghanistan proposes to use Bangladesh as home ground

CRICDOT DESK : Afghanistan has to play home series in a neutral venue. According to reliable sources, the Afghan Cricket Board has offered BCB to use Bangladesh as its home ground in the future. The BCBO is seriously considering the proposal for enhancing bilateral relations.

Afghan Cricket Board President Mirwais Ashraf and Chief Executive Officer Naseeb Khan had a meeting with BCB President Nazmul Hasan and Chief Executive Nizam Uddin Chowdhury.

Afghan cricket officials have offered a home venue to the BCB. Confirming the matter, Nizam Uddin said, “They have suggested whether we can give them the facility of home venue. I have promised to consider the matter seriously. Apart from this, there is a possibility of a tour exchange program to strengthen the relationship between the two boards, said the BCB chief executive. “The possibility of an under-19 team tour has also been discussed. ‘
