Taskin Ahmed ruled out of BPL!

CRICDOT DESK : Injured Taskin Ahmed again. The star pacer of Sylhet Sunrisers dropped out in the middle of the eighth edition of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) due to a new back injury.

The Sylhet franchise has decided to include AKS Swadhin in his place after Taskin was injured in the middle of the BPL.

Taskin Ahmed got injured while playing in BPL Chittagong. He already had pain in his spine. That pain has reappeared. After seeing the MRI report, the physio advised him to rest for the rest of the BPL.

In an exclusive interview with Jugantar on Monday afternoon, Taskin said, “I got a little pain while playing in the BPL Chittagong episode.” That’s why the physio suggested resting. “If I want, I can take part in the last two matches of BPL,” he said.

However, with a home series against Afghanistan ahead, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) may not want to risk one of the best fast bowlers in the country.

Moreover, since Sylhet has taken one instead of Taskin, it can be assumed that Taskin’s BPL is over.

Taskin Ahmed took four wickets in four matches in the current edition of BPL.
