Steve Smith to miss the reminder of Pakistan series


CRICDOT DESK : Reliable Australian batsman Steven Smith is no longer playing for the rest of the current tour of Pakistan. He will miss the ODI and T20 format due to a left elbow injury. Leg-spinner Mitchell Sweepson has been named in the squad to replace him.

“It’s disappointing not to be able to play the rest of the matches against Pakistan,” Smith said of being knocked out of the ongoing series.

I talked to the medical staff. Then I realized I needed a break now. ‘ Smith is resting for a long time due to not getting a team in IPL. Along with Smith, Test captains Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood, Mitchell Starc and David Warner will also return to the country.

The three-match ODI series between Pakistan and Australia will start from next Tuesday. Later, the only T20 match was on April 5. All matches will be played at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore
