South Africa stand still as Bangladesh fail to break partnership


CRICDOT DESK : In the second ODI against South Africa, Bangladesh could not take advantage with the bat. At the beginning of the batting disaster was stuck in 194 runs. In response, the hosts started in Daputa. Mehdi Miraj and Shakib Al Hasan then returned the two openers.

Later, Afif and Miraj made a pair of 84 runs. In that pair, Bangladesh got 200 touches. Afif picked up the second fifty of his career in the 12th match. He returned with 42 runs in nine overs. Miraj scored 36 runs with two sixes and one four.

Kagisu Rabada single-handedly destroyed Bangladesh’s innings with 5 wickets for 39 runs in 10 overs for the Proteas. This is his second Pfeiffer. Lungi NGD took one wicket with 34 runs in 10 overs. Wayne Parnell, Tabrez Shamsi and Resi van der Dussen also took one wicket each.
