South Africa come back at second Test against New Zealand
CRICDOT DESK : The South African players may want to forget about the first Test in Christchurch. After being bowled out for 95 in the first innings, they were again reduced to 111 in the second innings. Proteas are ashamed of defeat in the innings.
Today (February 25) South Africa will play the second Test at the same ground. They won the toss and elected to bat, losing 3 wickets for 238 runs.
Opener Sarel Ervi scored a century. He has scored 106 runs off 221 balls before being dismissed. Earlier, another opener captain Dean Elgar scored 41 runs. 111 runs came from their pair. Aiden Markam also came back with 42 runs.
At the end of the first day, Rasi van der Dussen is unbeaten on 13 and Temba Bhubama is unbeaten on 22. Among the Kiwi bowlers, Tim Southee, Matt Henry and Neil Wagner have taken one wicket each.
