CRICDOT DESK : Former Indian head coach Ravi Shastry said some people were against taking on the job of coaching the national team. In 2017, Shastri took over Anil Kumble. Anil Kumble resigned on suspicion of dispute with Indian captain Virat Kohli. In 2019, Shastri was appointed Head Coach of Team India.
