Shakib Al Hasan turmoil board’s decision once again!

Shakib Al Hasan

CRICDOT DESK : Bangladesh will catch a flight to South Africa on March 11 to play a three-match ODI and two-match Test series. The Tigers are scheduled to arrive in South Africa on March 12. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced the squad last Thursday ahead of the upcoming tour. Shakib Al Hasan is in the team announced by the Cricket Board.

Before leaving for South Africa, Shakib suddenly left Dhaka for Dubai on Sunday. Earlier in the day, Shakib told reporters at Shahjalal International Airport, “I do not think it is possible for me to play international cricket at this moment (in South Africa). If I get a break, if I get that interest back, then the game will be easier for me. Because I thought I was a passenger in the Afghanistan series. I never want to be what I am.

“If I can’t live up to my expectations, the expectations of the people, then it would be very sad to be in the team,” he said.

Asked if he had talked to the cricket board before leaving for Dubai, Shakib said, “I did not enjoy the game (Afghanistan series) at all.” I tried, but didn’t. I don’t think South Africa will play the series with that mentality. I have talked about this with Jalal Yunus Bhai. Jalal Bhai said, Uni will also think for two days. Gave me time to think too.
