Shakib Al Hasan surpasses Botham-Sobers and creates history
CRICDOT DESK : Shakib Al Hasan made fifty in the second innings of Dhaka Test. The all-rounder touched the fastest 4,000 runs and 200 wicket milestone in Tests through this fifty. Shakib has touched this milestone after playing only 59 matches. Shakib Al Hasan has shared many records of Test cricket legends before.
Sir Ian Botham has played 69 matches, Sir Gary Sobers 70 matches, Kapil Dev 97 matches, Daniel Vettori 101 matches and Jacques Kallis 102 matches to touch the milestone.
Bangladesh is fighting to save the match on the fifth day of Dhaka Test. Shakib Al Hasan is unbeaten on 51 runs. Now Bangladesh’s collection is 169 for 7 wickets.
The first three days of the Dhaka Test were rainy. At least 90 overs and 260 overs were to be played in three days. But the game was played in 83.3 overs.
