Russell Domingo sees Jamie Siddons as potential coach!

CRICDOT DESK : Rumors have been circulating that head coach Russell Domingo has lost his post since last year’s World Twenty20. It seems to have increased in recent times. The BCB has appointed Jamie Siddons, the former head coach of the Tigers, as the new batting coach of the national team. From then on, the buzzing stalks started to match.

Jamie Siddons is more involved with the national team cricketers in the ongoing Afghan series. On the other hand, the opposite is true of Domingo. He is with the team just because he has a job. Involvement is not very visible. He also came to Bangladesh two days before the start of the series.

Russell Domingo arrived at the pre-match press conference before the second ODI in Chittagong on Thursday (February 24). He was questioned about the role of Jamie Siddons in the team. In response, the Proteas coach put the Australian coach ahead of himself.

“Look, he’s a very experienced coach,” said Russell Domingo. He has coached all over the world, he knows the system here, he knows a lot of players. Maybe he knows better than me. Because, he was here before. So it is good to have him, he has a lot of experience in the coaching staff. There is no doubt about it. ‘

Earlier, Jamie Siddons was the head coach of the Bangladesh team from 2008 to 2011. Under him, Tamim, Shakib and Mushfiqur’s batting improved a lot. These cricketers have admitted this at different times.
