Ravichandran Ashwin wants to back in Chennai Super Kings

CRICDOT DESK : Team India cricket player Ravichandran Ashwin hopes to return to Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the next edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The veteran off-spinner was the latest part of Delhi Capitals to keep him out. Ashwin, 35, was signed as a rookie by CSK in 2008 and was trading franchises until 2015. In 95 games he played in Yellow Army, the famous off-spinner sculpted 90 wickets with an average of 24.2.

Talking to former IPL auctioneer Richard Madley, Ravichandran Ashwin was asked where he was in the next season of IPL. Tamil Nadu cricket player has stated that he would like to return to CSK if the opportunity arises.
Speaking on his YouTube channel in a conversation with auctioneer Richard Madley, Ashwin said:

“I`m actually not too sure, but to be honest, a professional player going anywhere giving his best must be the ideal way to go about it. But yeah, I am 35 now, it will be nice to come back to where I started but they already have an off spinner with them in Moeen Ali. So I don`t know how they gonna go about it, so let`s wait and watch.”

Following his stint with CSK, Ravichandran Ashwin joined Rising Pune Supergiant when CSK was suspended from the IPL in 2016 and 2017 before making a move to Kings XI Punjab (now known as Punjab Kings) in 2018. He was then traded to the Delhi Capitals ahead of IPL 2020 before being released after last season. Incidentally, Ravichandran Ashwin is among the 10 marquee cricketers at the IPL 2022 megaauction. Ashwin believes that participating early in the auction when the franchise is not yet settled has its downsides. Ashwin said:

“In fact, to be honest with you, I don’t know where I’m going because early in the auction, some teams are receiving money and some Because the team already has a lot of players and feels it’s going to be really upside down.
“Come into the first three or four of Marquee and introduce yourself, your future is almost It’s everywhere. If you think you’re probably coming after five players and there are some teams that make money, it’s going to be an even game, and some people will chase after it, “Ashwin concludes. Attached.
