PCB keen to arrange four nation ODI series with or without India

Empowering Babar brought lot of change: Ramiz Raja

CRICDOT DESK : The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) wants to host a four-nation ODI series between India, Pakistan, Australia and England.

The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) is scheduled to meet in Dubai next Saturday. In that meeting, PCB chairman Ramiz Raja will propose a four-nation one-day series with Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president Sourav Ganguly.

Ramiz Raja spoke to reporters during the second Test of the Pakistan-Australia series at the Karachi Stadium.

“When I meet at the ACC meeting in Dubai, I will talk to Sourav Ganguly about the four-nation ODI series,” he said. We are both former captains and former players. For us, cricket is not a matter of politics.

“If India does not agree to our offer, we will try to host a tri-nation one-day series between Australia and England every year,” said Rajim Raja, star cricketer of Pakistan’s World Cup winning team.

The date of the upcoming Asia Cup in Sri Lanka will be finalized at the upcoming meeting of the ACC. The Asia Cup could be held ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup in Australia in October-November.
