Pakistan heading towards a thriller win at Karachi Test


CRICDOT DESK : Pakistan will have to score 508 runs in the fourth innings to beat Australia in Karachi Test. Chasing a maximum of 418 runs in Test cricket, the world record is won by the Windies. They set a world record in 2003 when they lost to Australia in Antigua. So to beat Australia in the Karachi Test, the world record has to be rewritten.

Pakistan finished the fourth day with 192 runs for the loss of 2 wickets. Pakistan needed 314 more runs to win on the fifth day. He has 6 wickets in hand. The hosts are batting great on the fifth and last day as well. Captain Babar Azam is leading the team from the front. At the time of writing, Pakistan’s score was 262 for 3. Babar is batting for 146 and Fawad Alam for 6.

Pakistan need 234 more runs to win, with 6 wickets in hand. Today, about 56 more overs will be played. So to win, Pakistan will have to score about 4.17 runs per over. Australia, on the other hand, need six wickets to win. And if neither of these two equations match, the match will be a draw.

The first Test between the two teams was drawn. The third and final Test between Pakistan and Australia will be played on March 21 in Lahore.
