Nannu to be sacked soon due to Ashraful controversy!

CRICDOT DESK : Mohammad Ashraful was once the cricket superstar of the country. Many cricket analysts have described him as the first cricket superstar in the country.

But Ashraful lost his reputation in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) by engaging in immoral activities like match-fixing. Realizing his mistake, the former national team captain has publicly apologized to everyone.

Minhazul Abedin Nannu, the chief selector of the national team, recently lost his temper with a star cricketer like Ashraful. That is why he may be removed from the post of chief selector.

Habibul Bashar Sumon, who has been acting assistant selector for a long time, may be given the post of chief selector instead of Nannu. Former national team star cricketer Abdur Razzak is already the assistant selector. Hannan Sarkar may be associated with him as the third selector.

The contract of Chief Selector Minhazul Abedin Nannu and Senior Selector Habibul Bashar Sumon expired on 31 December 2021. Both have worked intermittently in the series against New Zealand.

In this regard, the new head of the cricket operations committee of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Jalal Yunus said, there is no way without thinking about the selection committee. Because our (BCB) agreement with Minhazul Abedin Nannu and Habibul Bashar has ended. So we have to do something.

“Since the New Zealand series is over, we will now sit down with the selection committee,” the BCB director said. Diameter, that’s all I can say. But what will not change? I can’t comment on whether Nannu and Sumon will remain in their respective posts. I will not.
