Mominul slams batsmen over massive loss against Pakistan!

CRICDOT DESK : Despite taking the lead in the first innings of the Chittagong Test, the Bangladesh team could not avoid defeat. The Mominul Haque-led side lost the first match of the two-Test series against Pakistan by six wickets.

Regarding the reason for the failure of the Bangladesh team, captain Mominul Haque Sourav said, “I think we lost the first hour batting in both the innings.” If we could have scored 100 more runs in two innings, the situation would have been different.

Mushfiqur Rahim and Liton Das got Bangladesh back in the game after losing 4 wickets for 49 runs in the first innings. They made a pair of 206 runs for the fifth wicket. Bangladesh scored 330 runs in Liton’s century and Mushfiqur’s 91-run innings.

In reply, Pakistan were bowled out for 146 in the opening over, but were bowled out for 26 by Taizul Islam.

Batting in the second innings from 44 runs ahead, Bangladesh fell into disaster again. The Tigers lost 5 wickets for 43 runs. Bangladesh were bowled out for 156 in the second innings due to the batting disaster of the team.

Pakistan openers Abid Ali and Abdullah Shafiq scored 151 runs in the opening over after batting at the target of 202 runs. Abid Ali and Abdullah Shafiq were out for 91 and 63, but Azhar Ali and Babar Azam ensured the victory for Pakistan.
