Mominul Haque achieves unique feat as 7th Bangladeshi cricketer


CRICDOT DESK : The first Test of the two-match series will start on Thursday at 2 pm Bangladesh time in Durban, South Africa. Mominul Haque Sourav will touch a new milestone by tossing in this Test. Bangladesh captain Mominul Haque Sourav will play his 50th match in white Test cricket as the seventh cricketer in the country.

South Africa’s ODI captain Temba Babumar is in the same situation as Muminul. He will also play the 50th Test of his career in Durban. Babuma will touch this milestone as the 24th player in Africa.

Over the past decade, Durban’s Kingsmead has become a nightmare venue for South Africa. The Proteas have lost all six of their last eight Tests at this ground. The last victory was against India a decade ago.
