Mohammad Hasnain banned from international cricket!
CRICDOT DESK : Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Hasnain will not be able to play international matches due to illegal bowling action.
Hasnain, who was questioned in the Big Bash, has been declared illegal after a bowling action test. As a result, the bowler is no longer playing in the ongoing PSL. News ESPN.
Hasnain made his debut for the Sydney Thunder in the Big Bash on January 2, according to an ESPN report. He got a chance instead of Shakib Mahmud.
Hasnain took 3 wickets in his first over in the Big Bash match against the Adelaide Strikers. That over was also Maiden. Hasnain got 3 wickets for 20 runs in that match. He bowled well in his debut match.
The report further states that Hasnain played only five matches in the Big Bash. He took 6 wickets. After this, the umpires in charge of the match questioned his bowling action. As a result, he returned to Pakistan.
Hasnain tested the bowling action in a laboratory under Lahore University. That test showed his bowling action was illegal.
Hasnain is currently playing in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). Got 3 wickets at 6.44 economic rate.
According to ICC rules, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) could have allowed Hasnain to bowl in domestic cricket if it wanted to. But in the past, the PCB has not allowed bowling in domestic cricket and in the case of Hasnain, the PCB has decided to do the same.
As a result, he is no longer playing in the ongoing PSL. Hasnain will now work under a local coach to improve his bowling action.
