Moeen Ali secures top spot in T20 all rounder ranking for the first time

CRICDOT DESK :  Moeen Ali of England is leading the West Indies tour head-on, and his form with balls and rackets is reflected in the latest MRF tire ICCT20I Men’s Player Rankings. Moeen took over as captain, Eoin Morgan was injured and lost most of the series, and tourists were shining despite losing Five match Series 32 in Barbados.

Moeen achieved 108 runs with an average batting average of 146 in mid-to-late overhauls in England’s batting innings and won 5 wickets with 13 overs in a 7.15 economy. He also demonstrated his ability to clear the rope with seven amazing 6s in 63 blitzkrieg in the fourth match of the series.

Moeen (205) is third in the MRF Tires ICC Men’s T20I All Rounder ranking, overtaking Glenn Maxwell and Wanin du Hasananga, behind Mohammad Nabi (265) and Shakib Al Hasan (231). Elsewhere in the All-rounder bet, West Indies captain Kieron Pollard was fired only once in the series, batting to 140 on a racket and then jumping 14th to the top 20. He also took four ticket gates. Jason Holder (# 34 up 15 spots) and Romario Shepherd (# 70 up 12 spots) were other notable climbers.

The most notable change in the batter ranking was Nicholas Pulan (up 8th to 18th). Nicholas Pulan led the series with a strike rate of 122 and 164. Brandon King, a key member of the series’ host top order, also rose 25 spots to 58th place. In terms of bowling, Adil Russied came in third, but his opponent spinner Akeal Hosein fell from 15th to 18th with eight wickets. The series’ top wicket taker, Jason Holder, was 15 and rose 3rd to 23rd.
