Mashrafe suggests to include Naeem-Anamul to national team

CRICDOT DESK : Former captain Mashrafe bin Murtaza has suggested returning Enamul Haque Vijay and Naeem Islam, who have consistently performed in the domestic league, to the national team.

Former national team captain Mashrafe said the Dhaka League is the top domestic cricket tournament. There is no chance of not taking into account the performance here. If those who are performing are not evaluated, others will not be motivated. I’m sure selectors are thinking.

In the current edition of Dhaka League, Enamul Haque Vijay, who has played for Prime Bank Cricket Club, has already scored 643 runs at an average of 80.36 with the help of two centuries and four fifties in 6 matches.

Legends of Rupganj star cricketer Chakka Naeem has scored 592 runs at an average of 98.6 with the help of two centuries and four fifties in that match.

Regarding the return of Naeem Islam to the Test squad and the victory in three formats, Mashrafe said age is not an issue. Naeem may be a little backfoot because of his age. But why not in the test? He also has experience. Although there is no chance in ODIs and T20s, Naeem has a good chance in Tests. And Vijay can be played in any format, the way he is running. I think they are on the radar. Their job is to perform, they are doing. If Allah helps, he will come to the party.
