India tops the chart again after beating New Zealand
CRICDOT DESK : The Indian cricket team once again regained its top spot as it tops the chart with a huge margin of 362 runs victory over New Zealand. New Zealand has fallen short of this improvement in India as they failed to stand back miserably. They lost the top spot and dropped to two.
Despite drawing the Kanpur Test on the tour of India, the Kiwis could not compete in the Test held at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
Kiwi left-arm spinner Ejaz Patel performed well in the Mumbai Test but the rest of the team did not play the expected quality of cricket. New Zealand chased down a target of 540 in the fourth innings for 382 runs due to batting failure.
India climbed to the top with 124 rating points in the win over the Kiwis. New Zealand has dropped to the second position with 121 points.
The Australian cricket team is in the third position with 108 rating points. England in the number four position with 108 rating points.
Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka, West Indies and Bangladesh cricket teams are in the fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth and ninth positions with 92, 8, 63, 85 and 49 rating points respectively. Zimbabwe is in the 10th position with 31 rating points.
