DRS to be available from Dhaka part and Afghan series!


CRICDOT DESK : The Afghanistan cricket team is coming to Bangladesh 5 days before the pre-arranged schedule. This was stated by Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB).

In Mirpur on Wednesday, BCB chief executive officer Nizamuddin Chowdhury Sujan said, “Afghanistan has requested us to set up a conditioning camp.” We have planned to organize this conditioning camp in Sylhet. In the current schedule, we expect Afghanistan to arrive on 12 February.

Afghanistan is coming to Bangladesh after more than two years. Rashid Khan will play three ODIs and two T20I matches in the tour. The ODI series will be played in Chittagong. The T20 series will be played at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur.

Nizamuddin Chowdhury said, “We will try to finalize the schedule today and give it to you in the form of media release.” If that is not possible, I will give it to you tomorrow. We have plans so far to use Dhaka and Chittagong as venues in this ODI and T20 series.

Sujan further said that what we have planned, we have planned to organize ODI in Chittagong and T20 in Dhaka.
