BCB to provide special privillage to Test Cricketers
CRICDOT DESK : The original format of cricket was Test. This format is considered as the standard of cricket. Bangladesh has been playing Tests since 2000. Even in 22 years, the Tigers have not been able to absorb the cricket in white.
That’s why Jalal Yunus, director of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) and head of the cricket management department, made a simple confession.
“History has shown that we are not a very good team in Tests,” said the BCB director. Even in the T20 format. But we haven’t been doing very well in Tests lately. I’m doing well now.
“We are trying to train the Test team separately,” he added. There are plans to train differently with proper coaching staff. We will try to figure out how to improve the Test rankings. With this series in South Africa, I can understand who is playing.
Ahead of the two-match Test series in South Africa, the BCB held an 11-day practice camp for the believers at the academy of World Cup-winning coach Gary Carsten in Johannesburg at their own expense. Jalal Yunus, chairman of the board’s cricket management division, has promised to provide such special facilities before every Test series abroad if they do well in this year’s Test series.
He said that the impact of these trainings will be understood in these two tests. If I see a good effect, I will always try to train the Test team in this way.
