BCB not to allow Taskin to play IPL as LGS interested to!

CRICDOT DESK : Tiger speedster Taskin Ahmed got an offer to play in IPL. The new franchise Lucknow Super Giants want him in the squad for the entire IPL season.

Lucknow has offered to play Bangladeshi star fast bowler yesterday. If he agrees to the offer, Taskin will have to leave for India before the next two Tests against South Africa.

Mark Wood has been ruled out of the IPL due to an elbow injury. The new franchise has not yet announced the name of its successor. They have been looking for an alternative for a few days. So the Lucknow Super Giants want Taskin instead of Wood.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board has not yet decided whether Taskin will be cleared for the IPL. The chairman of the BCB’s cricket operations committee told the media, “Lucknow has contacted Taskin and we are aware of this. But playing at the moment and in South Africa is even more important to us. We have not made any decision.
