BCB agrees to issue NOC for Taskin after ODI series
CRICDOT DESK : In the middle of the ongoing ODI series in South Africa, Taskin Ahmed got an offer to play in the IPL. Lucknow Super Giants, the new team in IPL, wanted this fast bowler who is in great form. The team’s mentor Gautam Gambhir was very interested in the Bangladeshi fast bowler. But in the end, the BCB did not allow him to go to the IPL in the middle of the series.
Nazmul Hasan told reporters about Taskin’s IPL game, “We have no objection to Taskin’s IPL game. But that is certainly not the middle of the series. After talking to him, he can go after this series. We can give him a discount even in the Sri Lanka series that is ahead. But there is no chance of anyone leaving in the middle of an ongoing series. ‘
Lucknow wanted Taskin for the whole season. So Taskin had to go to India without playing a Test series against South Africa. Taskin himself has given priority to the game for the country. Lucknow has already picked Zimbabwe pacer Blessing Muzarbani in the squad without finding him. In July last year, in the middle of the Harare Test, Taskin got involved with this mujrabani. The ICC punished both of them for the crime.
